To fuel your ambition, the new Berlin campus of General Assembly is offering a 10-week course on Front-end web development. The intensive introductory course will help you build fluency in HTML, CSS and Javascript so you can understand web development best practices, build your own prototypes, and launch websites that people love to use.

If you’re looking for a career switch, want to meet new people or just want to start out 2013 with a new skill in coding, General Assembly Berlin is here to help. Exclusively for betahaus members, GA is offering 2 €500 scholarship towards their upcoming front-end web development course.

To enter, write 200 words or less answering the questions: “What excites you? What inspires you? And what gets you out of bed in the morning?” and submit your response to Berlin@GeneralAssemb.ly.

Entries are due by Friday, 11th January. Entries must be submitted in conjunction with the GA application.

Hard facts: Dates: 22 January– 28 March 2013, Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Tuition: €2,000 (if you get the scholarship it's 500€ less)

GA Instructor Timo Tuominen is a Freelance Developer and has been making software in various roles for over a decade. His most unique expertise lies in the versatility of his interests, which range from soldering to graphic design. For the last few years his main focus has been on web technologies, but he is actively reaching out to new dimensions.
